About California Angels
The California Angels are an American professional baseball team based in the Greater Los Angeles area. The California Angels competed in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the American League (AL) West division. Since 1966, the team has played its home games at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California. The team went through several rebranding over the years. They used to be the Los Angeles Angels (1961–1965) but were then renamed as California Angels (1965–1996). After 1996, they were rebranded again as Anaheim Angels (1997–2004). In 2005, Los Angeles returned to the name, where they took up the name Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (2005–2015), before returning to the original name Los Angeles Angels (2016–present).
California Angels Varsity Jackets
The Los Angeles Angels have used ten different logos and three different color combinations throughout their history. Their first two logos depict a baseball with wings and a halo over a baseball diamond with the letters "L" and "A" over it in different styles. The original team colors were predominantly blue with a red trim. This color scheme would be in effect for most of the franchise's history lasting from 1961 to 1996. However, during that time period, when they were called California Angels, their varsity jackets were majorly red in color with little to no color schemes.
This helped in distinguishing fans for the Angels amongst the crowd, helping them mark a place for themselves for everyone to see. Varsity jackets such as the Lightweight Satin Jacket California Angels were popular amongst fans for their significance in baseball culture. To help you show their love for the California Angels, we offer fans the opportunity to wear 100% accurate California Angels Varsity Jackets and declare their love for their favorite team.
